Create a periodic benefit
- Create an active discount coupon reward with a point cost of zero.
- Use an order or shipping coupon code. Leave automatic discount and gamification off.
- Choose a benefit period: membership, months, or days.
- Set an allowance from 1 to 100 claims per customer per period.
- Choose whether the benefit is granted automatically or claimed by the customer.
Membership periods need an enabled membership policy in Tiers. Month/day periods use the reward's start date, or its creation date when no start date is set, as the cycle anchor.
How allowances work
The benefit follows active dates and customer eligibility. A new period supplies a fresh allowance; missed periods do not accumulate catch-up grants. The issued coupon still has its own expiry and checkout conditions.
Custom integrations
The public /program/rewards catalog lists positive-cost rewards and therefore does not list these zero-cost benefits. A configured benefit can be claimed with POST /customer/redeem using its reward ID and a stable requestId. Reuse the same ID when retrying the same claim. Do not assume that public v1 exposes the full official widget's benefit-discovery data.
