Choose a Shopify plan
For a billing-enabled public Shopify installation, open Subscribe and follow the plan selection link to Shopify's hosted pricing page. The store owner approves the plan in Shopify. Use the prices and terms shown there; free or custom plans may be offered to particular stores.
Return to LoyalTribe and confirm that the plan is active. If setup or synchronization is incomplete, follow the displayed error before retrying. A development/test installation, a private or grandfathered merchant, and a public billed store can have different billing behavior.
Administrator trials
An administrator can offer an eligible connected Shopify merchant a time-limited package trial, started on the first eligible visit or manually as configured. Trial eligibility and duration are set by the administrator; the trial is not available to every merchant by default.
This trial does not create a Shopify subscription or charge automatically. Its package and member allowance are captured at the start. A merchant receives it only once: logging out, reinstalling, or editing the package does not reset it.
When a trial ends
If no active entitlement replaces an expired or revoked administrator trial, new enrollment and protected configuration changes are blocked. Existing data is preserved. Billing, read access, account/security administration, and exports remain available. Choose an approved plan to restore access.
Shopify trials and cancellation
A Shopify-approved subscription trial is different: Shopify can begin recurring charges when it ends under the approved terms. Canceling that trial ends it immediately; canceling an active paid renewal normally keeps access until the current period ends. Check the confirmation and billing status rather than assuming an administrator trial follows Shopify's charging rules.
